Since you Love your privacy on your Android (and apple) devices make sure you uninstall / disable microSlop Swift keyboard and never use it anywhere
The EULA of this piece of LLM spyware gives microSlop specific consent to train their distructive LLM dataset on all of your typed in words in any language.
I did not expect to be LLM invaded in this manner.
I did a new install on a current brand new Android of midrange class of a reputable brand when I saw this monstrosity used as the default keyboard.
I was shocked
Why would an hardware Android factory do this. A lot of millions of dollars must have been passed to them, to make the device less expensive for the consumer
Facts
- this device is at least 30% cheaper than a competing brand device without this monstrous program installed
- no consesssions were done on the hardware
- I compared the devices both were very similar in BOM parameters
- The brand did this to get more devices sold
- microSlop gets their LLM invasion
- the brand sells more than competing other brand
- everyone is happy apart from the invaded consumer
At moments of detection, I immediately installed a favourite keyboard without microSlop. Who knows what they do with my keystrokes to configure the device.
Consent is impicitly given in this program, since it's pre-installed on the Android
This is also confirmed in the EULA
We know that is all bad and evil but this is how low microSlop will go to get it;s LLMs trained on the backs of innocent users
Be careful, don't give in to microSlop. I have many IRL and internet friends who also have a distaste of LLM invasions on their devices
