there used to be a cafe in melbourne central shopping centre where you could buy a short black (aka espresso) and a small latte for a discounted price. the idea was you'd drink the short black before you drank the latte. it would make the latte taste creamier than it was. i used to get it sometimes when i was studying in the city.

anyway i wound up developing a heart condition i still need to take medicine for from all the coffee i used to drink..........
