So, I wasn’t feeling the last canvas I started. It felt … I dunno forced? Like I was trying too hard to be silly when silly isn’t just where I am. I didn’t paint over it, I think there’s something there, just not yet. But I started a new one. I gessoed yesterday with some white and blues, and just finished sketching something I think might turn out cool.

I should be working in the garden, but it’s 90 F and 80% humidity, and yeah…naw, 60s spy jazz and oil paints for me, I think. (Pardon Igor, he fell and I’ve not reattached him.)
