Derzeit kann man diverse #Linux-Distributionen direkt von #Microslop beziehen, u.a. auch offizielle #Debian-Images. Das Ziel der eigenen Distribution dürfte sein, die anderen Distributionen in diesem Bereich zunächst zu verdrängen, dann ganz auszuschließen, um schließlich die volle Kontrolle über alles zu erlangen was auf #WSL läuft.

I am *especially* loving the privacy and security implications of my 'recently used files' jumplist in Windows Explorer showing me files that other people in the company have edited recently.

Given I work for a multinational, that includes people who aren't even on the same *continent*. But I can now see what they were working on this morning... 🤦‍♂️

ETA: no not in my team. Nor my department. The first common point in the org chart is the global CEO.

Edit 2: it appears it is a SharePoint thing. You know, trying to be 'helpful', by turning your 'recent documents' list into a feed based on other people's activity.

Edit 3: not specifically SharePoint. There's an option in Windows File Explorer now to "Include account-based insights, recent, favourite, and recommended files". Turned that off, and the problem went away.
