@AutisticInnovator @adhd

On bupropion. Was at 300 xl until I got genetic testing and had it reduced to 150 xl. Much better functionally and no side effects.

As an American Jew, let me be clear:
-Criticizing Israel is not being "antisemitic"
-Defending the human rights of Palestinians is not being pro-Hamas
-Arresting someone for these things is a violation of our 1st Amendment
-Violating 1st Amendment rights, and bragging there's more to come, is bad
If you’re calling Mark Kelly (U.S. Navy combat pilot, NASA astronaut, and U.S. Senator) a traitor and Donald Trump (convicted felon, rapist, and Russia’s KGB agent “Krasnov”) your president, it might be time for a long look in the mirror.
@EugeneMcParland I think you are forgetting the GOP. They are consistently supporting Pootin crime syndicate.

Standing Ovation for @anomalon

I'm not sure how to order these thoughts, so I'll just start.

I am not comfortable in any way being associated with Asperger's or Aspie, as a term, as a concept.

That's an I sentence. Judging such a thing for other people who have habit and context that I don't is outside my scope.

I'll tell you why, though.
Fuck a hierarchy.

There are certain words that give me the squigs because, at their inception, contained "better than" in the definition. Mahayana is another example.

I can't, for myself, imagine reclaiming a word that exists only to wedge a marginalized group.

I am #ActuallyAutistic . So are many other people with very different presentations to mine. I am human. So are other people with different presentations to mine. I'm not comfortable with any "more capable [of what, exactly? fuck you.] than other humans" labels, either.

I give no fucks about what pronouns people address me with. I'm not going to say others shouldn't. It's different things that pluck my strings and make sweet or discordant resonances. Same as anyone.

@pathfinder This is more directly related to folks with AuDHD - we will literally risk our personal safety & social reputations - if we truly feel they need to be sacrificed for justice & greater good. This is how almost every single AuDHD person I've ever met feels about injustice.

I'm always concerned when exchanges with other scientists reveal them to believe their latest paper is the definitive, final answer to any given question, and that they are the unquestioned - and unquestionable - leaders in the field.

Science is a process of progress. Very few things we are certain about today actually remain settled truths.

Humility is a key trait. Many of today's scientists need to learn it.
