I've had this album on in the car today and I have to say it is an excellent album released last November by Spock's Beard. It encompasses everything a modern prog album should.I'd go along with reviewer Gary Mackenzie from Prog magazine,he described the album as "complex and multilayered without being bewildering," adding that "it does all feel rather special."

Sooo, to kick off a weekend of prog music in the Netherlands I started with Spock's Beard in Uden. Haven't seen them a long time (too long) and was really happy and eager to see them again this time around.
The location, De Pul, was pretty small. Which was nice, it certainly added to the atmosphere.
As this was the first concert of their tour (after some years hiatus) you might've expected some hickups. And hickups there were. Trouble with cables, the mix, tight interaction... but most of all you could feel that the band hadn't practiced a lot together.
