Anybody good at image enhancement?
I took this today, a hopelessly dull day during which I was in a rush for other appointments and hadn't brought a torch to pick out the detail. I can read it OK, it's just it would be nice to isolate the text a bit for a report.
If anyone can improve it so the text is more easily readable, it would help quite a bit. I'll include your name/handle in my write-up if you like. π
Given that only a few % of the population will ever get around to filling-in any given petition, the fact that almost every constituency in the whole UK is returning an objection to digital ID cards is quite an achievement for The Starmer Party (TM).
And the petition still has until the end of January 2026 to run!
Over 2.5 million signatures thus far.
If in the UK, please help take it higher: ID cards are about total state surveillance of the ordinary citizen and very little to do with controlling immigration.

I'm a native first-language Welsh speaker. But the meaning of 'toau' in this context has me completely lost.
'Toau' would be expected to be the plural of to, therefore 'roofs'.
But this makes no sense in this sentence, because it refers to the toau living in the cottage under discussion.
Anybody got a clue?
