Think different, my ass.
I really should get better at eating in time.
Anybody else know this special #adhd circle of: You start a project you wanted to do for a while, you actually finish it, but now you ate completely out of energy- and THEN you realize that something went really wrong because you didn't plan ahead, because you weren't even aware that you need to plan ahead?
Yeah....
I need to turn the right-side handle before I can turn the left-side one....
@HumToTable Oh! That’s interesting. Both I am my son Drew area very very #ADHD. I still want the LARGE analog clock to remind me I might need to pay attention to time.
My son can “say” time is such and so , only if digital. He can say the numbers. BUT no longer conceptualizes time unless I tell him and tell him what it means. This is common for those with Alzheimer’s.
Your phrase “conceptual” is an important element of how we relate to time. I think I’m not quite as attuned to time unless it’s vague, like “It’s almost 7” or “dang, I’m late because it’s already 7”.
Yes, due to time warps in ADD, I rarely can remember that ten minutes is not long enough to do the ten things I still have to do. All my life I wished I really had the ability to warp time.

Pharmacy: we can only keep 1 month of ADHD meds, because they're dangerous.
Pharmacy: you must let us know 2–3 days before you run out
Me: Let's them know a week before I run out
Pharmacy: (1 day before I run out) oops we don't have it
Me: When will you get my meds?
Pharmacy: lololol idk, maybe I'll tell you later, maybe not.
