A long time that I didn't participate in a #printablescom contest but the fabric one got me curious about #3dprinting textiles. After reusing an old model, modifying it using prusa slicer, here's the result: https://www.printables.com/model/1451255-butterfly-chainmail
It was a lot of fun playing with the concept but the result is neither strong or nice to touch, so I will keep using cotton for my underwear 😊
Is it just me hating that most of the modules on #printablescom are not free and open? Or others just didn't realize.

I love 3D printing. I can just solve my own problem rather than hope someone makes a product to solve it for me. In this instance I'm using a wire rack without it's top shelf to house some computer equipment. I can't use the top shelf because it will block my window. This is a temporary solution until I find something better, but I don't want the poles to be a hazard so I printed soft 70A padded caps. #printablescom #3dprint #tpu #70a #filaflex
