Od poslední objednávky upgradoval #Aurapol špulky (zdá se, že jsou rozebíratelné) a přidal #RFID, který mi #Anycubic S1 rozpoznala.

Finished printing the #Resonite logo.
Took a bit of finagling to print on my #Anycubic Kobra GO... Partially due to this filament being so brittle that the skirts kept ripping of the built plate... Would have been way easier to print big side down but this way I got a clean (ish) finish on outside.

A bunch of notes from 'which 3D printer' hunt.

1. Anycubic Kobra S1

Their slicer is closed binary fork of Orca. x86-64 only, Linux means ubuntu 24.04 package. Orca access needs installing Rinkhals (foss firmware mod).

Their multicolor box is also a dryer.

2. Bambu Lab P1S

Network access only on x86-64 via binary plugin. Bambu slicer can be used on aarch64 but no network. Orca uses that blob too.

#Anycubic fixed the #KobraX firmware with version 1.2.0.2. You now no longer need an active internet connection just for NTP to get it working in LAN mode. I have just firewalled mine completely and it still works with the Anycubic slicer. Yay 🎉

Seeing some connections to NTP servers that are way closer, so the implementation probably isn't as bad as I initially thought.

Regardless, I have now fixed the DNAT configuration, so NTP requests are handled within my network. The #Anycubic #KobraX doesn't have #Internet connection but still works just fine.

All left to do now is to bug Anycubic about DHCP option 42. 😁

Okay, so it seems that the #Anycubic #KobraX doesn't like to be without Internet connection. Although it's in LAN mode, I still can't access it.

Current working theory is that it simply has no #NTP. Let's hope that this is all, can't have a printer that doesn't work without Internet.
