Doing size tests for the lawn poetry concept.... I thought 1.5"/4cm would be big enough but I fear the words would get lost in grass. I thought 3.5"/9cm would be too bulky but it might be just right. Going to sleep on it

Hey #makers what material would you use for this project?

I want to make a set of lawn poetry, like magnetic fridge poetry but with non-magnetic and bigger pieces to play on the ground outside with friends.

I want it to be big enough to read off the ground while standing, and light enough to easily bring to picnics. Looking at the magnetic sets, I am guessing I will make 400-500 word tiles (ranging from "a" to e.g., "bedazzled")

"A major highlight this year is the appearance of nationally recognized #knitting expert Patty Lyons, who will lead two special sessions focused on practical techniques and problem solving for knitters. I ran a hands-on Hidden Colors workshop where we built polarisation viewers and explored the colours hiding in everyday materials like tape, plastics and stress patterns.
