how do i set my pronouns?

i see others with them so i assume it's possible
on nostr there is just a button in the profile editor, maybe i missed that here (or it's somewhere else?)

i'm using Fedilab as my client if that matters

Noticed that some apps, including "privacy-centric" forbid usage of whitespace character (ANSI code 32?) in #passwords . Why?
Does it mean that password like
"I am a boring person" is somehow less secure than "I-am-a-boring-person" password?
Yes i understand that having whitespace at start or end of password can be problematic, but in the middle?!

#tumblr and #wordpress are apparently going to sell data for #aiscraping but what prevents the #scrapers from freely accessing the #fediverse and feasting on it at no cost?

And, if the answer is "nothing", how or where can one post their shit online without having to think about being scraped?

Is there any way to prevent it at all, like those poisoning tools for images?

I see people post content here where the text is visible, and only the images are hidden behind a CW. When I try to add CW, the whole post is hidden.

#introduction Hello, I am a C++ dev, going to join a new company working in a graphic designing desktop application using #opengl. Never used it before, watched halfway through #Cherno opengl series but not sure if it is the right path. Any hint where I can master #opengl and #graphicsprogramming in general? Especially not as a #gamedev but as an application developer. I can't wrap my head around VAOs, VBOs, shaders, projection matrices. I understand how to use them but I can't build the intuition. And also, how do I display in #3d and manipulate objects? So far, I have displayed a 2D rainbow triangle but nothing more. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a way to see only what someone has posted in their profile, without the boosts?

From time to time I clean up my profile by removing boosts, because I think most people opening it are going to be more interested to know what I post, not what I boost. (I also re-boost posts that way!)
Am I missing something, is there a way to filter for "Posts without boosts" and/or "Only boosts", like there is for "Posts and replies" and "Media" ?

n00b question: I just reset my phone and now I can't seem to be able to follow hashtags anymore in Fedilab. I get an error that says my instance doesn't support it, but up until my phone reset I could do it.
