Bleibt euer Sidekiq auch täglich hängen seit dem Upgrade auf 4.5.11? Ein Neustart behebt das Problem, aber bis zur neuen Version lief es wie ein Uhrwerk.

Ich muss zugeben, ich bin da im Prinzip nur Nutzer und nicht tief drin.

You might still have a bot problem.

A few months ago, we faced a serious bot issue spreading disinformation. First, we added a CAPTCHA. That worked for a few weeks. Then, we switched the signup process to “manual review.”

Today, I received a new report and didn’t remember approving that user. That’s when I realized the bots are now abusing the invitation system, which bypasses the sign-up rules.

I’ve just removed over 50 accounts and their invite seeds. Stay safe!

I have a feature request/idea for an "Invite Bot" specifically for our instance, @indeweb.social.
The Idea: A user sends a private mention to the bot, and the bot automatically replies with a valid server invite link that the user can copy/paste to invite their friends.

Since it's single-server, it could probably use a pre-generated pool of links or the admin API if config allows.
