#AlignedAI is still a #scam. Regardless of any #values supposedly programmed into #AI, it still uses enormous amounts of #energy, and #RareEarth #CriticalMinerals ill-gotten through #mining #extraction in the #GlobalSouth. It still has a limited group of #creators and #owners who hold immense #power through it. It's still #stealing the #work of countless #people, with no #consent or #benefit to them. And its #output is still #random with no #concept of #truth.
How is it #different at all?
Like, Big Merla using the power of song to convey so much and I am here for it. Disgust, horror, misgivings...Lewd dudes are fucking rude harassing random women on the web. Like sadly, it's sometimes part of the thrill for them to send their weens to ladies that never asked to see them.
Which is why public naming and shaming is so fucking powerful, it curbs that kind of shit (except for those that have a kink for being humiliated). In 2026 there are still plenty of stories that women can tell of getting harassed by dudes with unsolicited dong pics.
This is why teaching consent in age appropriate ways at all grades is so crucial. It helps define normal and regular boundaries between people, giving people words and tactics to defend their boundaries with.
As a man, I rarely get unsolicited dick pics (often by mutual request, won't go too deeply into that to spare you and it's not relevant to the post).
For example, #Vaccines, #Porn, #Abortion, #Transrights, #Consent, the #WarOnDrugs, and #Sexwork are all the same issue: Who owns your body, you or the state?
But that’s not the issue. The issue is who decides.
Also, for the sake of the discussion, I have been told by other POC that well intended white people on the left tend to just not listen to what POC say they need from any ally.
