@Remittancegirl Hmm. There are the #Paralympics. There could be other groups of games with different, or no, entry criteria.
I think we will end up eliminating the mens' events in the #Olympics, with their presumed (but not actual since #Classical Greek times?) bar to anyone else.
Call it #Open.

But I'll not be competing or judging, or mostly, watching.

I don't imagine this or any solution or change will make everyone happy.

Except some #Etymologists

Etymology heads will love that the ‘Were-‘ in ‘Werewolf’ is related to

Lithuanian ‘Vyras’ - man

Latin - ‘Virilis’ - manly, whence ‘virile’

The Welsh ending ‘-wr’/‘-wyr’- person/people/‘one who…’ - as in dysgi (to learn)/dysgwr (student)

Gaelic ‘Fir’ - male

Saxon ‘Wer’ - a man’s life worth.

There doesn't seem to be any work going on on the categorisation of hashtags just simplistic things like most popular lists.

I would like to see that kind of work happening.
When using hashtags you should boost the posting to get it cross-posted to other instances.

The more consistent you are with your hashtags the more likely that they'll be used by others.
