Recent report on the progress of the aerial bridge and underpass construction at the Barchi four-way intersection.
The construction of the Barchi four-way intersection underpass, which began in the month of Sarvan (July) in 1404 of the solar Hijri calendar by the Department of Works, Maintenance and Supervision of the Kabul Municipality, has now achieved over 80% progress.
The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-year 1405 of the solar Hijri calendar. Similarly, construction of the aerial bridge at the Barchi four-way intersection began in the month of Hoot (December) in 1404 of the solar Hijri calendar and currently has over 15% progress, with the essential works expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The Barchi four-way intersection underpass, from Naderi High School towards the Traffic four-way intersection, is designed to be 470 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 5.5 meters deep.
The aerial bridge, from the Deh-Bagh four-way intersection towards the Parwan Two four-way intersection, is designed to be 700 meters long, 20 meters wide, 8 meters high, and has 247 supporting piles.
The total cost of the Barchi underpass and aerial bridge is estimated at approximately 1.5 billion Afghanis.
The design of the Barchi four-way intersection conforms to international standards and has been structured as an aerial bridge and underpass, which, in addition to reducing traffic congestion in this area (a vital link connecting the city's central points and connecting the northern and western zones), will provide the ground for sustainable growth and development, and also for beautifying the city of Kabul.

The construction work of the underground road at the Barchi four-way intersection started in the month of Sawr (August) of 1404 of the solar calendar by the Kabul Municipality's Department of Works, Maintenance, and Supervision. To date, it has made 80% progress and is scheduled to be completed by mid-1405.
Similarly, the construction work of the aerial bridge at the same four-way intersection also started in the month of Khowar (January) of 1404 of the solar calendar, and currently has 15% progress, and is expected to be completed by the end of the current year.
The underground road from Naderi High School to the Traffic four-way intersection is 470 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 5.5 meters deep.

گزارش تازه از روند کار ساختوساز پل هوایی و زیرگذر چهارراهی برهکی
کار ساختمان زیرگذر چهارراهی برهکی که در ماه جوزای سال ۱۴۰۴ هجری خورشیدی توسط ریاست کار، حفظ و مراقبت شاروالی کابل آغاز گردیده بود تاکنون بیش از ۸۰ درصد پیشرفت کاری داشته است.
قرار است این پروژه تا نیمه سال ۱۴۰۵ هجری خورشیدی تکمیل گردد. همچنان، کار ساختمان پل هوایی چهارراهی برهکی در ماه حوت سال ۱۴۰۴ه.ش از سوی ریاست متذکره آغاز شده بود که اکنون بیش از ۱۵ درصد پیشرفت کاری دارد و پیشبینی میگردد کارهای اساسی آن تا ختم سال تکمیل شوند.
زیرگذر چهارراهی برهکی از سمت لیسه نادریه بهسوی چهارراهی ترافیک، بهطول ۴۷۰ متر، عرض ۲۰ متر و عمق ۵.۵ متر طراحی گردیده است.
همچنان پل هوایی آن از سمت چهارراهی دهنباغ بهسوی چهارراهی پروان دوم، بهطول ۷۰۰ متر، عرض ۲۰ متر، ارتفاع ۸ متر و با ۲۴۷ پایل استحکامی طراحی شده است.
هزینه مجموعی زیرگذر و پل هوایی برهکی حدود ۱.۵ ملیارد افغانی تخمین گردیده است.
طرح و دیزاین چهارراهی برهکی مطابق معیارهای بینالمللی و به گونهٔ پل هوایی و زیرگذر ترتیب گردیده است که افزون بر کاهش ازدحام ترافیکی در این ساحه (بهعنوان شاهرگ اتصال نقاط مرکزی شهر و وصلکننده به زونهای شمال و غرب)، زمینه رشد و توسعه پایدار و همچنان زیباسازی شهر کابل را فراهم میسازد.
