The Supreme Court's review of significant activities for today, Saturday:

1. Over the past two weeks, courts in Balkh province have addressed (689) legal and criminal cases, alongside the execution of (380) various documents.

2. Through extensive efforts by officials of the primary courts in the districts of Muqer and Ab Band in Ghazni province, two separate matters—a traffic accident and a murder dispute between two families—were resolved and settled.

3. The chief justice of the Appeals Court in Kunduz held discussions with the official responsible for safeguarding the Beit al-Mal (state treasury) in the northern zone, focusing on cooperation, improved coordination, the protection of the Beit al-Mal’s assets, and the security of seized properties from defendants and criminals.

4. During a visit to the primary court in Khwaja Du Koh district in Jozjan province, the chief justice of the Appeals Court instructed officials: "Open your doors to the people, listen to their voices, view your duties with a sense of responsibility and devotion, and treat petitioners with kindness."

On 6 June, a coordination meeting of seven zonal governors—Kandahar, Kabul, Nangarhar, Herat, Balkh, Kunduz, and Paktia—was held in Kandahar. Under a directive from the Taliban’s Supreme Leader, these governors also oversee their respective zones.

According to the Taliban, the meeting focused on implementing the Supreme Leader’s decrees, strengthening security, improving military and civilian administration, and preventing the cultivation, trafficking, purchase, and sale of narcotics.

The meeting appears intended to reinforce Kandahar’s central role in governance, underscore the Supreme Leader’s authority within the system, and strengthen his oversight of key state affairs.

A series of important security, economic, and political issues were discussed at a coordination meeting in Kandahar province, attended by the governors of Afghanistan’s seven zones.

In a press release sent to Radio Hurriyet, Hafiz Muhammad Basharat, spokesperson for the Kabul provincial administration, stated that the governors of Kandahar, Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kunduz, and Paktia participated in the meeting.

According to information in the press release, alongside several important security, economic, and political issues, discussions were held and necessary decisions made regarding the implementation of directives from the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate, further strengthening security, preventing the cultivation, trafficking, purchase, and sale of narcotics, and related matters.

It is noteworthy that, according to a decree from the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate, the governors of these provinces also hold leadership positions for their respective zones in addition to governing their own provinces.

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation's Department of Meteorology has forecast rainfall, thunderstorms, and potential flash floods and power outages in 12 provinces of the country for tomorrow, Saturday.

According to a press release from the ministry, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall and flash floods in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Panjshir, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan, Khost, Kunar, Nuristan, Laghman, and Nangarhar provinces tomorrow.

Sources add that the rainfall level in various parts of these provinces is expected to range from 10 to 25 millimeters.

The ministry has also issued a warning regarding strong winds, dust devils, and dust storms in central, northern, eastern, southeastern, southern, and western provinces, stating that wind speeds will range from 50 to 85 kilometers per hour in various areas.

The roads in the provinces of Baghlan, Samangan, and Takhar have been reopened to traffic.

The Ministry of Public Works has stated that the Dushi-Pulkhmeri and Baghlan-Kunduz routes in Baghlan province, the Banu-De Salah road in the Charshamba Tape area, the Abik-Mazar Sharif road in Samangan province, and several sections of the Takhar-Badakhshan road in the Kalfagan district of Takhar province, which had been temporarily closed to traffic, have now been reopened due to heavy rainfall and flooding.

The Ministry of Public Works also stated that the Nahrin-Barka road in Baghlan province remains closed to traffic and that work to reopen it will begin shortly.
