Thanks very much for all the help we've already received, and the patience you have shown us. We hope our progress is gratifying, even though it takes a while.

I'm sat in the #Vulpibus boiling the kettle with #solarpower to make #tea to settle my upset stomach. I spent most of today trying to dismantle several #pallets for usable #timber, and finding that a frustrating number of the boards and beams are rotten, split or otherwise not good, and my expectations weren't high to begin with. Ah well, we have plenty of #firewood now! And a few good boards too.

Last week we raised $1032 and it all got put to instant use! Bills and fees tamed and some basic needs covered, now we need to use this next week to stay on top of those basic needs and get some bigger ticket things like insulation!

My boots I got for cheap in 2019 have reached a point where they cannot keep much water out any more. My feet are cold and wet inside these and I need to replace them. Today I got a much needed reprieve from the doom and stress of late, when I met the landowner of where we have parked the #vulpibus (our #skoolie) and it turns out he loves what we are doing with it and would like us to stay - especially if I can take a job at his diner.
That would indeed be fantastic, though in the meantime we are still skint and in much need of funding help! Until I have the job and get paid, money continues to be an issue for all things.
