New boots obtained, muuuuch better! Many thanks to two of our money helpers for covering the cost.

We also now have a new kettle, a simple plastic electric kettle for $15 that will hopefully be a good replacement for the similar one we had before that began leaking after the water in it froze solid too many times.

My boots I got for cheap in 2019 have reached a point where they cannot keep much water out any more. My feet are cold and wet inside these and I need to replace them.
