Just discovered that local elections are going to take place here in September. The local council had been taken over by the NSW state government due to bankruptcy - and they said the area would not have elections for the time being. There's also a local constitution referendum on reducing the number of wards. I didn't expect to be voting that soon.

STATE-LEVEL RACES
DEM GROUP will target seats in

- legislatures in Arizona, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin; the state Houses in Georgia, Michigan and Minnesota;

- and the state Supreme Courts in Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.

- The NDRC also plans to get involved in the governor’s race in New Hampshire

- and the redistricting ballot initiative in Ohio.
