Does anyone know why San Antonio -- the 7th largest city in the U.S. -- has no rail other than an Amtrak station?

The other large Texas cities of Houston, Dallas, and Austin each have some urban rail. Why not San Antonio?

back on the bus for the first time in awhile. mostly just didnt want to drive the whole way. Even cutting out the last 15km and getting to 😴 a little is worth it.

First day after the last day of classes at univerity so it's pretty empty.
