Cinemas don't even have select times or auditoriums for #immunocompromised ppl (all of them should be safe frankly). Why would I show up for ppl who don't give a fuck about my safety or anyone else's?
I love movies to death and miss the movies -- I also know my life & well being is worth more than a movie ticket 🎫
Yes it bothers me cinemas are struggling and some shutting down. But my sympathy is limited. Hard to be sympathetic when they don't care about hurting & killing ppl, & #segregation.
Directors, actors and crew are appealing to the public to watch their movies on opening and early periods of showings to secure longer cinematic runs and fund #art.
They're not wrong, but everytime those in #entertainment industry or #theater industry begging ppl to go see films I keep thinking "if you want me in the theater require masks, update your ventilation, install some air cleaners."
