"All I can say is that I'm beginning to regret having lived so long — because we're going downhill," he says. He worries that people have become more susceptible to anti-vaccine misinformation because they have not experienced the misery that childhood diseases once caused — and that things will not get better until outbreaks cause anguish once again.

I went to the GP's today, and got a Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) booster on the spot (and free). Anyone born after 1966 without a documented second dose is eligible.

You can do immunity measurement first, if you want (and pay), but that would only give you a rare “you don't need it”. Otherwise, it's just easy to get it.

Get a booster if you're not sure if/when you had an MMR. Everyone.
Especially over-50s but anyone at all. Request a blood test for antibody titres if they won't just book you in for a vaccine straight away.

@ai6yr This article says to get the Measles vaccination. But, it omits "why" Dr Oz had a change of mind to start advocating for it, and contradicting his boss.

Given history, one can suspect that someone in his immediate family has/had measles with severe symptoms, which is the only reason these bastard billionaires will ever give a shit: It happened to one of theirs.

Fuck these guys, but get the vaccine, please.
