“I think that another important thing to ask the secretary is, has he been briefed by a CDC expert on anything, specifically #measles, #COVID19 flu? I think that people should ask him that in that hearing...
“The answer is, ‘No.’ No one from my center has ever briefed him on any of those topics… He’s getting information from somewhere, but that information is not coming from #CDC experts." https://www.thedailybeast.com/cdc-leader-drops-bombshell-rfk-jr-admission/
"As measles surged in Texas early this year, the Trump administration’s actions sowed fear and confusion among CDC scientists that kept them from performing the agency’s most critical function — emergency response — when it mattered most, an investigation from KFF Health News shows."

Trump officials sowed fear and confusion among CDC scientists, slowing their response to the measles outbreak in West Texas. Cases surged and sparked new outbreaks across the U.S. and Mexico. Together, these linked outbreaks have sickened more than 4,500 and killed at least 16 in the U.S. and Mexico.

He said during a university presentation the following month that “a complete failure of leadership at all levels” and public complacency contributed to Alberta’s measles outbreak. Both of these issues are touched on in the internal communications."
As Measles Exploded, Officials in Texas Looked to CDC Scientists. Under Trump, No One Answered.

Trump’s CDC Failed in Emergency Response to Measles as Cases Exploded in Texas
While the Trump administration stifled CDC communications, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fueled doubt in vaccines.
