I'm going for a short walk to quell anger from reading a news story about BC government reducing support for disabled people who need family caregivers & it affects several parents & caregiver guardians I know in more rural areas 😑 This inhumane government really hates #PeopleWithDisabilities & their #caregivers. I need to walk off some rage energy.

In this way, they uncover the ways in which ableism insidiously operates across space and time. As an abolitionist community lawyer, educator and organizer, Lewis has focused on abolishing the medical-carceral-industrial complex and highlighting the inextricable links between ableism, racism, classism, and all other forms of oppression and violence.
