Politicians pushing social media bans for youth are avoiding the real work of regulating tech giants that surveil us and spread misinformation - shifting responsibility onto individuals instead of corporations. Protecting youth means creating a world worth looking up from the screen for.

How very disappointing. I know I am not unbiased here, but why not just bridge the other way and have mastodon be the primary source? Seems rather antithetical to the values of the BC green party to be leaving mastodon.
