Anyone who would really like to be able to use unity better while disabled, or who knows a bit about code and just wants to explain what might make it easier for devs to integrate accessibility into their unity projects should check out this survey.

Accessibility Attitudes Survey

This is a survey investigating the importance of various accessibility features

@weirdwriter I also find this article and it's comments to be quite interesting. I don't understand allot of this so analyzing for author bias is hard for me, but finding any good info on #accessiBe is hard, so I'll take what I can get.
But I agree, this company is a problem, and in general automated access fixers and overlays are a bad idea.

#accessiBe Will Get You Sued

Disclaimer: This post and the headline is my opinion. I provide facts throughout to inform that opinion. I say this because accessiBe managed to get $12 million in funding from K1 Capital and I am guessing some of that money will be allocated to attorney fees. I am also not…

Hey digital #accessibility testers, I'm thinking about going into the field and I'd like to interview some of you before hand, both out of my own curiosity and also to fulfil the requirements of my state's vocational rehab agency.
So if you can speak decent English and don't mind doing an approx 45 minute audio only non compensated interview at the time of your choosing and with no recording or personal details unless you allow it, then please do let me know! I'd love to hear from you.

What do you guys think, are comprehensive #AccessibilityToolkit solutions that continuously scan and fix #A11Y errors like #AccessiBE, Access Alchemy, and Make-Sense, the way of the future [despite the often sub par results] simply because of the cost savings and ease of use?

Or do you think that human #accessibility testers are still going to be important to the future of #webdev in a decade.
Are the potential benefits of fast fixes and consistent monitoring promising enough for end users to be worth giving them space to grow even if they aren't great right now?

#DisabilityInUX Panel with Subtitles

I didn’t even have to zoom in to see the low contrast mess (even the text is transparent), but then I did something that broke the image and realized the alt text does not convey all the text from the image.

“Designers don't like users zooming in and making their designs change. Their number one weapon in stopping us from resizing text: use one big image of text.”
