Yeah, the point is not that he can't legally do something. He's doing it anyway! He doesn't care about the law, he doesn't care about the Constitution. He fell asleep in front of Merchan, he racked up so many contempt charges, and just... ignored them.

The question is always 'what can be done to stop him?' Because that's the question he's asking: "Whaddya gonna do about it?"

Calling Trump stupid makes us all feel smart and superior but the man has a clear understanding of power. He knows rules don't matter only power over other people matters. He's _good_ at exercising that power.
