Good luck! We had the whole slate mine for ourselves ❤️!

A nice but cold weekend in the Sauerland. But what can you expect...you can be happy if there isn't snow in summer 😉.

Queen Angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris) – Tobago

The Queen Angelfish, known scientifically as Holacanthus ciliaris, is a vibrant and inquisitive species found in the Caribbean, particularly in Tobago's nutrient-rich waters. Identifiable by a distinctive crown-like marking and striking coloration, they play a crucial role in reef ecology by managing sponge populations, thriving within diverse coral habitats.

Soldierfish

These fish were packed into several large pipe openings in Hawaii. These stood by just long enough for a photo before retreating further back to get out of the light. These fish prefer the shadows, rarely seen in the open but occupy lots of rock caves.

Went diving for the first time this season yesterday, here in northern Greece. Water was already 20°C at surface, but 16°C at 30m. It was "a bit chilly" even with a 5mm wetsuit + 2mm over-shorty, but fortunately it was sunny outside. Saw lots of Antiopella cristata, a few small lobsters in their holes, a few curious octopuses going out in plain daylight and looking at us, and LOTS of fish, small and big.

Pictures will come later, after we've edited them to fix up the colours a bit.

This is the Caribbean Pen Shrimp (Pontonia mexicana). Normally, you’ll only find these glass-like macro marvels tucked safely inside the mantle cavity of a living pen shell. Seeing one completely out in the open is rare enough, but watching it jump on and then off my divemaster's arm was a great encounter.
