In opdracht van Leah en Mare, twee leerlingen van 5 vwo op de Nassau Breda, maakte ik deze muurschildering💥

Als thema voor hun profielwerkstuk kozen zij de impact van muurschildering en kregen we de kans om er ook een uit te werken in hun school. Samen zochten we naar een thema en beeld wat zou passen bij hun school. We vonden een herkenbaar beeld in de zoektocht naar je jas en zagen dit als metafor voor de zoektocht naar je eigen identiteit tijdens de middelbare school. Zo hebben we de trappengang in het havo/vwo gebouw eens flink opgeknapt met kunst!

Het was erg leuk om deze samenwerking met twee leerlingen aan te gaan! Bedankt Leah en Mare voor jullie input en hulp! Bedankt Nassau voor het vertrouwen en de leuke opdracht🙏

Plantaardige zeefdruk van rode kool 🌱🌿

In opdracht van gr8 agency ben ik voor Regio West-Brabant aan de slag gegaan met een 100% plantaardige zeefdruk. Ik heb zelf roze inkt weten te maken van lokale rode kool en met een chemische reactie tussen de kleurstof en baking soda maakte ik een gradient. Het papier is gemaakt met tomatenplant. Het was een uitdaging om mijn werk volledig duurzaam te maken met veel obstakels gaandeweg maar met een uniek eindproduct.

Cityboulders

This artwork shows the clash between artistic vision and the urban development that you see a lot in the cities of Brabant. While creatives strive to infuse life and character into the cityscape, the city has different interests with the scarce space. It's a reminder of the clash between creativity and big changes in our urban landscape. It feels like a race between creating something cool and tearing it down to start agains somewhere else.
