#HappyBirthday to Guiseppe (Pino) Donaggio, the Italian film / TV composer, musician and singer, born in Venice on this day in 1941. He wrote the international pop hit "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" before his haunting score for Nicolas Roeg's Don't Look Now (1973) triggered a prolific career in lush, inventive #Horror and #Thriller soundtracks...

Here goes an #introduction post: I research, write, talk about, & create things that explore our fascinating & complicated relationship with death & how it shapes our lives.

I’m a former #museum #curator, & historian of a historic & cultural landmark in #LosAngeles

I love classic film & #TCMParty, #HorrorMovies, #FolkHorror, #Criterion, have been obsessively watching #KDramas since 2008, & #FoodHistory particularly funeral food.

I mostly share things that evoke wonder & curiosity.

More from my Asylum: Acceptable Losses series 🖤 I really miss being behind the camera. I want to do another silent film photography series or film again. Being immunocompromised makes something I love to do (photoshoots) too dangerous right now.
