Make no mistake Clarkson’s vile & harmful fantasises & rhetoric fuel abuse & violence towards all #women. Unfortunately, using social media has made many journalists super lazy. They use Twitter as a sort of public barometer, when in fact, it only represents a small slice of the public sphere and a skewed one at that. What public engagement there is goes on between elites and those they deem at their stature or above-status climbing. This behavior replicates real world hierarchies of haves and have nots.

The reality is we're not dealing adequately with everyone's mental health & wellbeing if we aren't also dealing adequately with the harmful issues related to the status of their #diversity, #equity & #inclusion.
This means acknowledging & addresssing the detrimental impact, on #mentalhealth of the isms, abuse, hate & #inequity towards women, Black & Brown, mixed heritage, indigenous people, #LGBTQ+, #Neurodiverse, people with #Disabilities #OlderPeople & others from diverse backgrounds.
Diverse representation is meaningless when it fails to support the interests of the very groups they're supposed to represent. Infact, we've an even deeper struggle when divide & rule, along with tokenism, are in full force
These acts serve to harm growth & #mentalhealth
Authentic #Representation requires couregeous #Leadership, which challenges the status quo & supports equitable & diverse interests

The powerful barriers to dismantling racism & other isms have been erected over centuries & are strongly supported by suppression, denial, ignorance & token gestures sustaining the status quo.
Window dressing & smoke & mirrors are continually used, in a conscious attempt to side-track & create thin illusions, rather than confront & commit to dealing with the real issues.
