#Labstodon #FediScience We're all nerds here so I wondered if anyone here had had the same #Wetlab IT issue and if so how you solved it? We have a computer in the lab for managing our chemical inventory (using #Labcup) but since the introduction of SSO to log in you need to authenticate on your phone which you shouldn't touch in the lab. So you basically have to glove up, login, remember the number, take off your PPE, come out, use your phone, go back. Surely someone else has a better system?

An advantage of oversized gel wells is that you can add more sample to them. A disadvantage is that, if you forgot to fill the gel tank with buffer, most of the samples can be carried away by wavelets of liquid, as witnessed with horror 5 minutes ago...
