#Labstodon #FediScience We're all nerds here so I wondered if anyone here had had the same #Wetlab IT issue and if so how you solved it? We have a computer in the lab for managing our chemical inventory (using #Labcup) but since the introduction of SSO to log in you need to authenticate on your phone which you shouldn't touch in the lab. So you basically have to glove up, login, remember the number, take off your PPE, come out, use your phone, go back. Surely someone else has a better system?

I love tardigrades as much as the next bio nerd, but this poster pisses me off every time I see it. Instead of asking students and post docs to develop near superhuman powers of stress resilience, maybe we should be finding ways to make conditions in the lab less tough?
