We did two games at 2 players, six games at 3 players, and two games at 4 players tonight. All in all that leaves me at 16 playtesting sessions so far.
It felt solid even at higher player count. Needs more testing of course, but I am pretty confident. Endgame might need some tweaking though since one player (same player) ended up dominating every time, and, to quote my fellow player who didn't win, "fucking aphids, man".
I brought my game to work yesterday and managed to squeeze in two separate plays with two separate coworkers.
The consensus from both, individually was (paraphrasing) "At first glance this seemed like a kids game or entry family game to me because the rules are very simple, but once I figured out what's what come second round I realized just how many decisions I had to consider before making my first move."
Will try with more players on new year!
i had a random idea coming out of nowhere last night and finished a new design. we've only tried it on two players but it does feel pretty good already. hopefully it will scale to three or four players! maybe even five!
basically, it's a rules light shedding game using dice and with interactive mechanics. from our initial testing, it requires just enough thought to make it interesting but not overbearing, perfect for casual play!
Designers!
When you run a playtest of your game, do you change rules in the middle of playing?

i also cleared up the rules a bit on the joker.

Do you have an analog #musicGame that would be good for our #wiki?
But maybe you don't feel like going through the hoops of registering and editing?
Please tell, G4M support will surely come to the rescue! :)

Holy smokes y’all! The reviews are pouring in! (There was one.)
People can’t get enough of Bone Boogie! A one-page #rpg for all ages. It’s the perfect way to spend some time with friends and family this #spookyseason
You can get it for free! That’s practically nothing by my reckoning.

What a great time today! Convention is done!
Played some great games, sold some, got to MC the closing ceremonies (with a hint they may want me as their main MC next year), talked to some store owners who may want to carry my game (!!), and just had an absolute blast!

I worked together with the local creative club to make a game!
It’s a mini #ttrpg for kids and the young-at-heart called Bone Boogie! The local comic book store is printing them as zines.
We played together and everyone had a blast. Enjoy a photo of a bunch of grown adults doing the Hokey Pokey.
