Oh fun fact most card nerds would know but I don’t think I’ve posted about here. In the 15th-18th century, Portugal manufactured its cards with dragons on the aces. Portugal eventually stopped doing this, but the designs left their mark on Japanese playing cards. #PlayingCards

The author is unknown but the cards were made in Upper Rhineland, Germany, ca. 1450

I spent way too much time rewriting and updating the rules for my #cardgame #crowns. Maybe I didn't need to rewrite them entirely since it seems most people understood them anyway, but I added two optional rules in preparation for the custom cards version I'm working on and made a minor change to the King.
