Describe an idyllic garden

I have previously called my gardening style “Darwinian gardening”—plant stuff and see what survives. My friend said that was just “lazy gardening” and I think she’s right. 😆

So, my idyllic garden has no weeds. It’s a super chill, low maintenance, happy place. Just hang out and get potatoes later.

Happy almost birthday to me. There will be questions and, assumedly, answers. What a twist!

Step 5 is profit, but unfortunately at this point you are already dead.

Has the time finally come for me to bring Final Fantasy Cheese back to light? XD

Really proud to share this one. 🎸
"Orinoco Rising" is my new release — a sound painting shaped over several intense months of writing, recording, and discovery. Many guitar voices, many twists and turns, and a journey that builds into something I'm genuinely excited about.
I was also delighted to bring in my protégé and good friend Matt Wensor, whose brilliantly super-distorted lead lines enter at 0:56 — adding a striking new colour to the journey.
Powerful, cinematic, and full of changing currents.
Close your eyes, and let the river take you...

#WordWeavers Day 15: What’s the actual temperature in your story?

Around -10°C for the most part, maybe as low as -20°C (14°F to -4°F).

Cold but nothing to write home about.

#ScribesAndMakers Day 15: Does your adjective from day one still fit? If not, what would you choose as of today?

I had to look back. I had said ‘Potential’.

I think that still fits.

#WritersCoffeeClub 15: Most painful part of the writing process?

Lack of collaboration.

For any creative endeavour there is a burst of energy and as that fire dwindles, the fear sets in and I have to overcome that to keep going. I find collaborating helps to combat that feeling and keeps me motivated.

The challenge with a novel is that it requires a lot of time and energy from a collaborator to read through different drafts. Finding folks who mesh with me is tough, too.

#WritersCoffeeClub 6/14. Talk about something you're willing to endure in order to write.

The decline of my mental health, apparently. 😬

This seems dramatic, but I will frequently burn myself out and thrust myself into very stressful situations for the sake my art.
