I know you're busy with #Halloween Hatting, but saw these, and, well, you know.

I believe they were called Swan Gourds. Can't imagine why. 😀

We went to buy our #Halloween pumpkins (early) at a local church we support. They buy exclusively from a Navajo tribe in NV, and the local church does a lot of nice things for young mothers.

They had their usual assortment of cool #pumpkins in addition to what they call "alien gourds, " which were even cooler than last year.

Queer Halloween
I translated my short story collection "Queer Halloween" from German into English and it is available on Amazon worldwide (ebook only).
It's focusing on queer romance and spice, not horror, but several of the characters visit Halloween parties.

To experience Evil Sword is to run through the forest with a pack of feral children as your guide, their motives unclear. Will they ambush you in a thicket and steal your trinkets? Or lead you laughing to hidden wonders? The bass lines lurch like a lumber cart careening downhill surrounded by a swarm of bells and whistles, and out of dark hollows echo haunting chants of life and death. Evil Sword have chewed, scratched, and carved out their songs in the same way a mouldering tree trunk has been shaped by the markings of wild animals: in Bacchanal celebration.
