Today was free RPG day and we got to the store before it even opened. The Husband was second in line. He's never scored a free figurine at one of these things, and his goal today was to get one.

We did! We got two. There were three options so he chose his favorite and I picked his second favorite.

I picked up a deck for a haunted house game that looked like it might be fun and a notepad that made me laugh.

Then we actually bought stuff - I got a set of dice that I'd been yearning for (for months) and he got some paint.

Nearly our whole gaming group was there! The only person who didn't make it was the one who sleeps all day and wakes up at night. It was fun to be there together and talk to other local gamers that we know.

Then The Husband took our stuff and headed home, and my friend and I went out to lunch. We try to have lunch every month or so. We see each other every week at the game, but that's not the same as lunch socializing.

It's been a great day so far and later we'll have our regular game session. I can try out my new dice.

So I'm looking at what it'll take to recreate the "dice" / "roll" plugin form the Purple Plugin Pack into @pidgin 3 and holy crap has dice notation gotten stupidly complicated..

The days of simple 2d20 are gone as this is now a thing..

And I'm noticing this isn't complete either as it doesn't mention what B is 🤦
