Brunch was good as usual, but the AC in my car isn't working very well -- it was just bearable driving home.

I stopped at my polling place to vote. There was a new sign on the door to the building, saying that by court order ICE was not allowed to enter. I wondered if those signs would really deter them if they decided to arrest people anyway.

I'm happy they weren't trying to.

Ok. I just couldn't take it anymore. I bit the proverbial bullet n dropped the thermostat down to 76deg for a little while #today.💪

It may not seem that a 1 degree drop would change things much. But that small difference has a tremendous effect on me.🤗

77deg is the barrier the old body doesn't like ctossing, for so odd reason. Yet 76deg feels too cold on my bare skin most of the time.🤔

Ah, well. Old ways are strange ways, sometimes. 😁

I'm having one heck of a time getting myself going #today.
Just no motivation to move nor much energy at all.🥱

The wife assisted by toasting n serving a peanut buttered bagel for my breakfast, and I've managed to get up n out to do today's gotta-do coffee pot fixin for morning. But otherwise, it's been a morning of just sitting n sipping. 😏

The house never cooled off overnight, sitting at 77deg. Even with the windows opened to the slightly cooler 70deg air.😣

It sure let the wet n muggy in, though. So, the AC and dehumidifier are both on n running in an effort to keep me kinda comfortable. At least, if I don't move around a lot. 👍

And now they are calling for more rain this afternoon to add more wet to the muggy.😲

Ach, Summer weather here in the south. 😠

At least, I'm not further north where the temperature is REALLY terrible. 💪🥵
