It ain't a fit day out for man nor beast, according to UK news today. 6 foot tall snow drifts, you can see one for scale next to Paddy, huge! And the visibility was an utter white out too, as you can't make out the lake district in the distance, absolutely horrendous conditions out there.

10 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
30 minutes of shovelling snow (recorded as strength training)
10.8 KM of #Running (-10°C, -15°C Windchill. 93% humidity, and 10 km/hr wind)

I do enjoy shovelling snow on days like this and end up clearing a long distance of sidewalk because I can.

But! #SNOWRUNNING! Slow going on the route though with snow on top of ice, but it was *fun*.

Well, apart from a few painful brain-freezes, snow clinging to my shirt and freezing my chest, stumbling over hidden rocks and kerbs, numb knees, snow cutting into my eyeballs and half a ton of it matted in my hair, that was a satisfying run.
Slow, but a good sense of achievement.
