I need to move to a new instance. Is there a Fedi for Moms or similar instance out there somewhere?
just saw a clever paragraph from Cycle Toronto.
"The loss of income, businesses, and connection with friends and family [during the pandemic] was common, but not evenly distributed. And early enthusiasm for the collective sacrifice to "flatten the curve" increasingly metastasized into resentment. At some point we started normalising how much inconvenience was worth other people's safety."

This nightmare for every book author.
Agency stole bestselling author's book, used AI to relaunch as their own https://waxy.org/2026/06/the-wholesale-plagiarism-of-obscure-sorrows/

Without permission, a marketing agency republished the entirety of John Koenig's Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows book, replacing its art with AI slop and adding new AI words and definitions. Their unauthorized site now ranks higher than the real one everywhere.
Saturday #Workout:
10 minutes of yoga.
5 minutes of strength training (movement snack while tea steeping).
43.9 KM of #Cycling (16°C, 85% humidity, and 21 KM/H wind).
Morning of reading, tea, some yoga, and then headed out for a longer ride around Ottawa. Ran into @jessrawk and got some quality dog pets in too.
