Tbh - I spent the past few hours crying so hard. The wounds hurt as much as they did the day he left

Didn’t feel like #running today

If I wasn’t going to do it for me, then I was going to for him. It made me push myself and I got my best ever time

Also saw a #heron

I miss you, buddy

Saturday #Workout:
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
52 minutes of strength training (cutting up fallen branches).
38 KM of #Cycling (18°C, 43% humidity, and 21 KM/H wind, gusting to 35 KM/H).
Attended the Ottawa #FediverseMeetUp,
9.7 KM of cycling with @TAV.

Got some quiet reading and tea drinking done before cutting up the fallen branches, got treated to a bit of an airshow, then went roundabout to get to Vincent Massey Park, had a wonderful time, and then biked home.

Hamstrings: 3 rounds
- 10x bridges on foam roller
- 2x (30" work / 60" rest) hamstring tantrums
- 5x 8m shuttle runs

Push ups: 3 rounds
- 25 elevated push ups, unbroken (20in box)
- 2 min rest

Accessory: 3 rounds
- 45" weighed plank on hands
- 45" side plank on hand e/s

I am annoyed by how much I have lost on Mayhem's programming when it comes to push ups, planks & pull ups, that I had gained through specific programming

Friday #Workout:

27 KM of #Cycling (13°C, 72% humidity, and 7 KM/H wind).

Good workouts, and the ride was quick (for me), I was following someone who was moving at a really quick clip for a while and kept it up as long as I could.

Once I got home, showered then walked into the Market for a meeting to sort out some stuff for the upcoming start of #FestivalLife.

Got really windy; two branches on the tree out front came down. :-(

This morning's #workout #music is from Nomusicians - who work in the tradition of Eno, Budd, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and Nils Frahm. New to me. Well executed if not particularly original in concept.
