Five people died in Gaza City, according to two hospitals, and another person was killed and fifteen others injured in the southern Gaza Strip, west of Khan Yunis, according to the Nasser Hospital. According to a Gaza security source, the man killed near Khan Yunis was a police officer for the Islamist Palestinian movement that governs Gaza. Since the implementation of the cease-fire last October, at least 837 Palestinians have been killed according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
