È accaduto ad Angri, in provincia di Salerno, in un'abitazione di via Mezzo. Era lì che la coppia - un 41enne ed una 35enne, entrambi originari del Bangladesh - si erano trasferiti, dopo essersi separati dai rispettivi coniugi. Nella giornata di venerdì 1° maggio, proprio nel primo giorno di convivenza nella nuova abitazione, dopo una discussione e il pranzo, si è verificato il fatto. Forse dopo avergli somministrato sonniferi e averlo narcotizzato, la 35enne ha atteso che il nuovo compagno andasse a letto e, non appena caduto in un sonno profondo, lo avrebbe evirato con un coltello da cucina. Le urla del 41enne hanno attirato alcuni vicini di casa che hanno chiamato i soccorsi.
Il personale del 118 ha subito accompagnato l'uomo all'ospedale di Nocera Inferiore, dove è stato sottoposto ad un delicato intervento chirurgico e ad alcune trasfusioni: resta in prognosi riservata, ma dovrebbe salvarsi, anche se non è stato possibile ricostruire i genitali. Sul posto sono giunti subito anche i carabinieri della stazione di Angri, che hanno arrestato la donna in quasi flagranza di reato per tentato omicidio. Ora la 35enne è in carcere su disposizione del pm di turno alla Procura di Nocera Inferiore e attende l'udienza di convalida, in programma lunedì. I carabinieri della sezione rilievi di Nocera Inferiore hanno effettuato tutti i rilievi del caso: sequestrata l'arma utilizzata - un coltello da cucina - e l'abitazione.

Perhaps after administering sedatives and narcotizing him, the 35-year-old waited for the new partner to go to bed and, as soon as he fell into a deep sleep, she castrated him with a kitchen knife. The 41-year-old’s screams attracted some neighbors who called for help.

The 118 personnel immediately took the man to the hospital in Nocera Inferiore, where he underwent a delicate surgical procedure and several transfusions: he remains in guarded condition, but should survive, although it was not possible to reconstruct his genitals. Carabinieri from the Angri station arrived at the scene immediately and arrested the woman in near flagrante delicto for attempted murder. The 35-year-old is now in prison at the order of the prosecutor on duty at the Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor’s Office and awaits the validation hearing, scheduled for Monday. The forensic section of Nocera Inferiore police conducted all the investigations of the case: the knife used – a kitchen knife – and the house were seized.
