Long ago I made wine from plums I had bought in the supermarket. This was very good and tasty. Nowadays I no longer make wine, but this year there is a large yield of nice Reine Claude, or Greengage plums in my garden. So I decided to try out jam making, which is quicker than wine, and just as useful and nice to make:

Can’t put it off any longer. Time to make Plum jam from my home grown Santa Rosa plums from my 10 year old tree. Plums rescued before the birds and possums ate them all.
