Emily van Lidth de JeudeOne of the plants we've put in our fruit tree guilds (this one around a persimmon tree) is Cusick's Checkermallow. It's threatened in its native habitat, and although that's Oregon and we're in BC, it feels good to support diversity by adding it into our garden. And today it bloomed! 💕 What a peaceful softness it brings to this little shady under-tree.
