Scones: The ultimate food controversy. ☕🍓

I used to be Team Devon (Cream First)—until yesterday, when I tried Cornish style (Jam First). Turns out, Cornish style is better because you actually get to taste the fruity tartness longer. Who knew?

Are you #TeamDevon (Cream First) or #TeamCornwall (Jam First)? Or just here for the tea? ☕

@NancyNilgen Those tea cups! I love them! I am going to abstain from voting until I have the opportunity to try both ways. I am very prepared to be convinced that #TeamCornwall is the way to go though.

Is that #ApricotJam ? I like very tart #BeachPlumJam but have settled for regular #PlumJam and #DorisPlum here in #NewZealand

@ambientspace I was briefly startled, wondering why you wouldn't vote until you'd tried it yourself. I was irritated because we're electing a new government in Germany today. But then, of course, I immediately realized that you were talking about choosing how to eat your scone 🤣

I'm not entirely sure what kind of jam it was. It was probably a combination of different fruits. It had a very refined taste with a floral undertone.

@NancyNilgen I am so sorry if I startled you!

I am here to vote as and when appropriate in New Zealand and would never abstain from voting as a form of protest.
