Targeting this evening for a new release of my AI slop reporting browser extension.

Since the last release I've implemented account sign up with a proof of work captcha and email verification to prevent abuse.

I've also consolidated reporting and account signup/login into a single extension button rather than splitting between a URL bar button and a toolbar button.

I have two old sick cats.

Here the mother, a 19,5 years old warrior.

She used to be a beauty angora tortie queen for a long time, starting to show signs of aging only after 17 yo.

She lost her tongue 6 months ago, almost died but doesn't give up, and with my help to eat and wash and cure, she holds on.

I know that her days are numbered, but as long as she wants to continue, I support her, one day at time. 🐱

So I have accounts on #DeviantArt and #ArtStation, for ~13 and ~5 years respectively. I publish my work parallelly here and there. Last year or two both services started promoting their embedded LLMs 🤮
There were some waves of #artist outrage against plagiarism and services claimed they would protect users' works against external AI scrapping... But they have own thing, right? (And DA is currently literally flooded with slop, often mass produced in series.)

There are some "NoAI" toggles on publishing interface, but mostly aimed at external AI I guess. And I don't have any warranty they don't train own models on users' data.

Now I don't know what to do. Just stop publishing there? Currently it's between 700 and 800 of my works on each of that services. Should I delete it? And delete accounts after?

I have also other objections about these portals, I wrote here about their discouraging attitude to 2FA (as premium option in DA and app-based-only in AS).

Are there some other services to publish digital pictures which didn't get infected with this disgusting AI hype?

I don't even draw professionally or make any money of this. I just don't want to legitimise this cursed planet-burning industry or help some US capitalist getting richer and donating to fascism.

The eponymous main character of my erotic "Veronica's Life" books has severe kyphosis (a spinal deformity).

So yes, I do. And no, it's not sexy.

The important thing is that she learns, contrary to what she's been told all her life, that it doesn't define her.

The image is a depiction of the very first scene where, yes, I have the MC looking at herself in the mirror (oh noes). In this case it's essential the reader understands her physical issues - and how she views herself.

(Technical note, this is a remake of an original I did back in 2020 which I have included for comparison.)
