Just in case you have an old Volvo or Subaru in your memories, here's a bunch of them on a dock, coming into the US circa maybe 1970.

I had a 1968 Volvo 142 2-door sedan. When my brother got out of the Air Force in 1972, he took advantage of a discount program for military and picked up his new 142e sedan at the Port of Houston.

A couple of days ago, @vwdasher astutely commented on the lack of family resemblance between the old-fashioned Morris Minor and its modern 1960s stablemate, the 1100/1300. There was a big difference between the modern face of the Morris range - the FWD Mini, 1100 and this, the bigger 1800 ‘Landcrab’, on the one hand, and the old Minor and Oxford models on the other.
