Daimler-badged XJ Jaguars continued to be offered into the 1980s and 1990s, in both the XJ40 and X300 ranges. This 1995 car is a special one-off stretched version of the X300, used by Jaguarโs then-chairman Nick Scheele. It is a smaller-engined (4-litre) Six model - although the bigger V12 engine was still available, if not for much longer, in Double Six Daimlers. Note the distinctive fluted Daimler grille. Seen at the British Motor Museum in 2023.

Went to a Japanese car show briefly today. Sadly the rain followed us there and I was saturated within half an hour so we pulled the pin and went home. Got some photos, saw another Haruki and lots of fun Asian cars. Photos coming soon!
